I ordered a desk organizer for my brand new desk a couple of days ago. To day I received the item, and it was Shipped in a flimsy bag and is half broken. Today is Friday, and their customer service department is not open until Monday. That means for 48 hours I have to sit here and stew about this and not even be able to get my money back. I will never order from them again.

I've never had a good experience ordering furniture or technology online from Office Depot.com. This time I ordered a chair for curbside pick up. I received an email confirmation that the order would be ready in an hour. Then a second email said it was not really available and that a manager would call me. I didn't wait and called the store and was told me I should go back online and order the chair with a second separate transaction. My next email confirmation said it would be delivered 5/21. My next email said the chair would be delayed until 5/28. My next email said I could expect 1-2 days past 5/28. I checked the tracking today and it's being delivered 5/26. What a complete joke their online ordering process is, office max is putting items on sale showing in stock at stores that you can order from but they don't actually have any. Then office max doesn't have a handle on what's in stock at their wh or their supplier on these items they just put on sale. Not impressed, I could fix this whole process in a few weeks with their IT department.
One more thing, why there's a link to check my order on their emails yet I have to input my phone number and the order number after it takes me to their website?
Great price on the chair, the company is a mess. I just moved from as an example Boca Raton you should see the 625,000 square-foot headquarters they paid $130 million that I don't think they ever filled half of it with employees and it's probably been empty the last 15 months with people working remote.

Cannot edit reviews

Cannot edit reviews. I purchased a desk and its paper veneer peeled off in less than a year. I went to edit the review, but it was not possible. I emailed them about this and they have not responded. It's been weeks. Their chat function does not work most times either.

DO NOT BUY REFURBISHED INK FOR YOUR PRINTER AT OFFICE DEPOT!

I work from home and I go through quite a bit of ink. I have always bought my ink at Office Depot but this last time they did not have the name brand, the clerk told me he could sell me the refurbished ink and it woulld be cheaper as well. Not cheap $53.99 for the duo set he had for me that was refurbished ink.
I bought the duo the color and black and my printer kept telling me the ink was empty. Or that, A PROBLEM HAS OCCURED WITH THE INK CARTIRIDGE- I took the ink back and the manager said, we can give you another pack but you have to bring both the color and the black back. So I went home got the 2 inks and returned, he gave me another duo kit and I brought them home and the printer once again, said the cartridges were empty. It also SAID INK CARTRIDGE CANT BE RECOGNIZED I am never buying the refurbished again, I asked the manager if this was a common experience, he said sometimes they do not work. If you know this, quit selling this type of ink. It is very messy and not at all convenient. I have not been able to print for almost 3 weeks trying all the different inks. Today I am going back to Office Depot to return the 2nd box of refurbished still cannot print anything! The multiple trips are the hassle, I paid almost 60 bucks and cannot print a thing! DO NOT BUY REFURBISHED INK FROM OFFICE DEPOT!

Terrible

Office Depot is an absolute joke. Ordered a folding table because they were offering the cheapest price, but I guess there's a reason for that. The package arrived in HORRIBLE condition - literally tape keeping it together. The table was visible in some places through the packaging, that's how bad it was. We just cut open the top of the box to see what kind of condition the table was in, and of course it's just completely trashed. There's so much damage just along the top edge, there's no way we're going to keep it, especially with how much we paid for it. I reached out to their customer service via text, because that was the only option I could find in my order email, and they didn't offer much help. Said they'd put in a ticket to escalate the issue. I received an email the next morning asking for photos showing the damage to the package and the product, which I sent over right away, and now I'm sitting here two days later and have heard nothing back. Not even a response of, we received your photos and we're reviewing them. NOTHING. So I responded to the email again this morning asking for an update - nothing. I just finished speaking with someone via their Live Chat, and he said that he could see they were "researching" the issue, but that he'd put a note for them to contact me ASAP. This is so cut and dry - look at the photos I sent and it's obvious that this item should not have been delivered to anyone. Returning something should not be this difficult. At first we were planning on just exchanging it for a new one, but after this painful process of no communication and everything taking so long, I'd rather return it, get my money back, and buy it somewhere else, even if it costs more. This is the last time I'll be shopping with this company.

Still waiting for my order

Every day for the last four days, I've gotten an email stating that the driver reported that "a delivery attempt was made, but no one was available to accept the order." What??? I've never had to be home to accept a delivery from Home Depot. They just leave it at my front door. I have called "customer service" twice guaranteeing them that someone has been at home every day for the last four days and that there has been no sign of a delivery man on my security cameras. Today CSR Jonathan put me on hold several times so that he could talk with the delivery people. He told me that they couldn't contact the delivery guy. Pretty funny, right? Then Jonathan told me that they were going to have another delivery guy bring my merchandise today and that he would contact me before coming. Guess who never contacted me LOL. Guess what time I finally got my stuff. You're wrong. It still hasn't arrived. Tomorrow's Sunday. Guess what's not coming tomorrow either.

Customer service complaint

I ordered a storage cabinet from Office Depot online. I received an email saying it was delivered however I did not receive it. I spent a month and 13 phone calls trying to get this resolved. I finally asked for a refund which never came. I spoke to supervisors etc. Everyone I spoke with would say "You will receive a call back within 72 hours" or "An email within 24 hours" or "I will personally call you back tomorrow." None of which EVER occurred. After they promised me a refund I ordered the identical cabinet from another vendor. Well shortly after receiving that cabinet the Office Depot cabinet showed up. Never a follow up call from the supervisor who was working on my refund. The WORST customer service I have ever seen. Each time I called I had to explain the situation again. Each time they would give me a new complaint number but never follow up on the old number. I just gave up!

Office dépôt in Altamonte Springs…

Office dépôt in Altamonte Springs Florida. IT tech Miguel Gonzalez was extremely helpful caring and went above and beyond to assist with my comp issues. I am very thankful for the help and the positive customer expérience. He is an asset to this company.

Leo at the Chico, CA location provided us with outstanding service. He spent time to ensure our pictures were perfect and was extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend this service.

Bad aggressive costumer service office max golden colorado

A rep from returns department at office max in Golden colorado was very aggressive refused to help dramatic as can be passed all over because I wanted to return a printer he screamed no go to epson other employees had to hold him back one gave me his full name he was crazy I left with no refund nor a printer that worked he had to be restrained like a wild animal again his name was DENNIS MARTINEZ AT GOLDEN COLORADO OFFICE MAX

Purchased a file cabinet online and had the option of saving 5% and picking it up at the store or wait an extra day and have it delivered. I went with the delivery. Thursday came and went, then Friday did as well. Monday morning I did a live chat with an agent, who checked into it and promised it would be delivered that day. Around 1pm, a person from a local delivery company texted me and asked if I'd be home on Wednesday for a delivery. The local delivery person called me back on Tuesday and asked if I'd received the "product" yet, to which I told her no. She then asked what it was that I bought, so they could make sure they loaded the right thing in the truck for my Wednesday delivery. Their free next business day delivery took over a week for me to get. I can't trust them for my small business needs.
